…All of the above?

what are you all waiting for. go create weird fictions
“Not having a carrd is a red flag!” No a red flag is you thinking you’re entitled to a little pamphlet full of someone else’s information.
Everyone saying something like “Yeah you just need to put [x] in your bio!” is missing the point.
This is the internet privacy version of the “yeah makeup culture is terrible…all you really need is foundation, mascara, and concealer and you look totally natural!” post
kanye isnt even funny annoying anymore hes just annoying
him wishing death upon jews while having a very impressionable audience made up of 18mil insta followers alone, which is bigger than the entire worlds jewish population, isnt him being “annoying” mf its him being dangerous jfc
apologies for not seeing the future and predicting his descent into blatant antisemitism thats on me for real
few things in video games are as beautiful to me as viridian forest
in gen 1, viridian forest is one of the first places you go. the first big hurdle for you as a pokemon trainer. your pokemon are low level. the area is a maze. so many pokemon can inflict poison and paralysis. there are so many trainers challenging you to a fight. it is a bigger and more dangerous area than anything from before it. on the other side of the forest is pewter city, and your first gym badge.
it has a fittingly scary theme.
… but in gen 2, when you come back to visit viridian forest, you have already beat the elite four. your pokemon are strong, the situation is different, and you are different. both you as the protagonist who is not physically red, and you as the player who is older than when you played gen 1.
and here is the new theme. viridian forest, which was once such a scary place, is no longer so scary. you are wiser. you are more experienced. you are more equipped. you are okay. you were okay. you will be okay. you made it through this, you made it past this, you made it here, and now you can see the beauty of this place. and this is reflected in the theme, the song of someone looking back on something which once inspired so much fear, and looking at the present where it no longer does.
you are stronger now. it was worth it.
there will be many viridian forests in your life. keep going.
